The Webquest layout.
The Webquest will be set out over 3 student directed lessons through the use of this webquest which is divided into 4 sections as listed below:
Lesson 1:
Children will be introduced to the subject of the webquest Antartica in the library were a variety of resources can be utilised
They will be asked to go onto the computer and to open and accept their quest of a research scientist.
The Teacher will explain task 1 to them and the task 2
The Children will then be asked to follow the webquest to complete task one in the first lesson.
If the children have completed task one to the required standard they will be allowed to begin half of task 2 before the next lesson
Lesson 2:
The teacher will begin the lesson by explaining task 2 and task 3
The children will be back at their computers completing their own work in the library and asked to continue to task 2 if they havent started yet
Once the children have finished task 2 they will be asked to have task 3 completed by the next lesson
Lesson 3:
The students will be given the final task at the beginning of the lesson by the teacher and it be clearly and logically explained.
Students will be asked to complete the final task prior to the next lesson
Students will be asked to use this time effectively and informed they will need to present their research in the next lesson
